Swimming!

I took my two littles swimming today. Our eldest is on a school trip (still! I write this post at 10 to 11 whilst waiting for his coach to return home) so Toby was feeling a little left out - and not much beats swimming!

Toby is loving swimming, and his lessons are really paying off. I love seeing the excitement in his face when he does a whole length (small pool) with out putting his feet down. Our local pool isnt too warm so Theo can not stay in very long. So we got in the pool 20 minutes before Toby had a lesson, and me and Theo got out when the lesson began.

It was great fun. Toby got to go on the slide and show off his tricks. He misses out on the fun of the fountains and slides usually as he is only in the water for his lesson time. He enjoyed splashing us and trying to show Theo how to blow bubbles. Theo had a great time sitting in the shallow end hitting
the water with his hands and kicking his legs so fast to make a splash.
It may become a regular thing because it was so fun and easy! Even with the 3 of them it shouldn't be too hard because Jack is old enough to be in the water by himself now, and has completed his 25m!!!!

I really need to take Theo swimming more. The boys have lessons weekly and quite often go on a Saturday morning with daddy, and I had always wanted to get Theo into mother and baby lessons. Time goes so fast though, he is already one (watch this space for another blog  showing our celebrations) and we still haven't signed up for any.
Maybe that will be my new years resolution, I didn't really set any, so, can you set them at the end of January? To take Theo swimming more. He is such a water baby, and absolutely loves it.
