Lego challenge!

Today I thought I'd write about something a little different. My boys love Lego, and so I was looking up different ways we could use the Lego to play new, fun games. I came across a Blog written for exactly what I was looking for on Kids craft room.

Me and Jack tried out some of these mini games and it was a lot of fun.

For the first one we had a pile of Lego pieces each and then raced to order them from smallest to largest.

It was really fun, and we played it a couple of times both of us winning a couple of games.

For the next game we used Knex pieces as chopsticks and had to move all the Lego pieces from a pile on the floor, on to the piece of paper. Again it was a race and lots of fun, even though cheeky Jack kept trying to cheat!

The last game we played was building a tower using only one hand, and only touching one Lego brick at a time. We took it in turns and the loser was the one that made the tower fall.

All of these games were lots of fun and were so quick and easy to play. It would be perfect for a day when I've been super busy and need to give the boys some quality time, but seem to have run out of time!
